On Saturday and Sunday (September 10 and 11), from 11:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Mission Viejo Riding Park, families will locate a no cost carnival that feature culinary choices, carnival games, bounce houses and a prehistoric pet display from the reptile zoo. This End of Summer Celebration is located at 30753 La Pata Road. On September 17th, Volunteers are welcome to attend the 2016 Creek Clean Up Even (aka The Annual Inter-Coastal and Watershed Cleanup Day). The focus will be on tidying up the San Juan and Arroyo Trabuco Creeks. The event starts at 8:30 a.m. and will begin at Descanso Part, with is found across from the City Hall in Downtown San Juan Capistrano. People attending will remove trash and debris, and they will receive a free lunch. On Saturday, September 17th, beginning at 9:30 a.m. The city is hosting a free Garden Class Series held at Reata Park and Event Center. The class is offered by the UC Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Orange County and hosted by Goin Native Therapeutic Gardens.
